Mandaara, New England Kannada Koota cordially invites you with your family to Rajyotsava/Deepavali/Children' s Day Celebrations on 19th Nov 2011 at Keefe Tech School 750 Winter Street, Framingham, MA 01702. Please mark your calendar and attend Deepavali/Childrens' day /Rajyotsava event with family and friends. We will send an evite soon.
We invite all children and youth to participate in the event. We are introducing a kids’ talent competition this year - Mandaara's Got Talent (MGT). Click here for details. on or before Nov. 10th. A Child can participate in either or both the competition and usual programs (non-competitive). A child can participate in two items at the most. Competation winners will get a prize and all participants will get a certificate of appreciation from the Koota.
Fancy Dress: We will also have fancy dress show for children up to 5 years at the beginning of the event. This is open to all (including those participating in Cultural segment) who are 5 years or less. So come with your dress and costumes!
NEKK Membership: Those who are not yet members please fill in our membership form and mail it to NEKK @ 5 Kestrel Lane, Westford MA-01886. Membership is our main source of revenue. For those who are already members, NEKK Committee appreciates your support and Patronage to our Koota. NEKK now offers diverse membership options. Visit our website for more information. NEKK President's Award: Every year NEKK recognizes a child for his or her outstanding achievements at the Children’s Day event. The winner is an individual who inspires us all with his or her active participation in NEKK events, general achievements, and a distinguished community service. A perfect role model for future generations! If you think your child or a child you know is eligible for this award, please fill out this nomination form (click here to download fillable PDF form). Briefly tell us why you think this person deserves the award. NEKK Star Essay Contest: We will also hold an essay contest for children for the first time. We request that parents encourage their children to write at least one essay. You can either post it on the NEKK group FaceBook NEKK page or email it to

Volenteers for Community Service: For any good program, Volunteers are key. As such, we invite teenagers in our NEKK to come forward & help with the upcoming Children's Day function. Their help will be recognized & rewarded with certificates for community hours, useful in college admissions. If your child is interested, please contact Mamta Kudlugi by November 10. (
